VibeShirt ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our services, or use VibeShirt through a connected AI app (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) or our API.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Account information: Email address and name when you create an account, either with a one-time email code or by signing in with Google or Facebook
Creator payout information: If you earn commissions, your PayPal email, legal name, country, tax form status, and a record of when you accepted the Creator Terms (including IP address)
Profile information: Store name, description, and profile picture for sellers
Payment information: Billing address and payment details (processed securely by our payment providers)
Order information: Shipping address, purchase history, and design files
Communications: Messages sent to customer support or other users

Information Collected Automatically

Device information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
Usage data: Pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages
API and connected app usage: For each request made with your access key, the tool or endpoint used, time, result status, credits used, response time, and IP address

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

Process orders and fulfill deliveries
Manage your account and provide customer support
Generate designs with our AI tools and save your designs and generation history so you can return to them
Process payments and prevent fraud

Connected AI Apps and API Access

You can connect VibeShirt to AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini through our MCP server, or use our API directly. This section explains how that works.

Signing In

When you connect an AI app, you sign in to VibeShirt, or create a free account if you don't have one, and approve the connection. Connected apps can't be used anonymously. Designs, AI generations, projects, carts, and orders created through a connected app are saved to your VibeShirt account, the same as on our website.

What We Store

The connected app's name and the redirect address it registered
An access key linked to your account. We store only a secure hash of it, never the key itself.
A log of each request, described under "API and connected app usage" above. We use it for security, rate limiting, credit accounting, and troubleshooting.

What the Connected App Receives

The connected app receives only the results of the tools it uses for you. These can include your designs, mockups, projects, image settings, product and price information, carts, your orders and their tracking status, and your earnings, with your payout email masked. We never share your password with the app, and signing in does not send it your email address. Information the app receives is handled under that app provider's own privacy policy.

Purchases Through a Connected App

A connected app can create custom products from your designs, add items to a cart, and give you a checkout link. It can't complete a payment. To buy, you open the checkout link, review the order, and pay on our secure checkout, which is operated by Shopify. You enter your payment details directly at checkout, so they never pass through the connected app or our MCP server. Your shipping address and order details are used as described in this policy.

Disconnecting

You can revoke a connected app's access at any time on the API Access page. Revoking access disables its key right away. You can also remove the connection inside the AI app.

Information Sharing

We may share your information with:

Print partners: To fulfill your orders (shipping address, design files)
Payment processors: To process transactions securely
AI providers: Prompts and reference images you submit to our design tools, to generate your results. VibeShirt does not itself use this content to train or fine-tune AI models. To create your designs, we share your prompts and uploaded images with third-party AI providers that act on our behalf. These providers process the content under their own terms and privacy policies, which may allow them to retain it for a period of time (for example, for safety and abuse monitoring) and, depending on the provider, to use it to operate or improve their services. We do not control those practices, so please do not include personal or sensitive information in prompts or uploads.
Connected apps you authorize: The results of the tools they use for you, as described above
PayPal: Your PayPal email and payout amount, used to pay creator commissions
Service providers: Companies that help us operate (hosting, analytics, email)
Legal authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures including:

Limited employee access to personal data

How to Delete Your Data

You can delete your VibeShirt account and all associated data at any time:

Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)

Log in to your VibeShirt account
Go to Account → Manage → Account Settings
Scroll down to the Danger Zone section
Click Delete Account
Type "DELETE" to confirm
Click Permanently Delete Account

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

Your account credentials and login information
Profile information (name, avatar, address)
All design projects and saved designs
Your store and store settings (if applicable)
Shopping cart contents
Style preferences and saved selections
Activity logs and credits
API keys and connected app authorizations

Data Retention After Deletion

Some information may be retained for legal or business purposes:

Order and payout records: Transaction and payout history may be retained for tax and legal compliance
Published products: Products you published may be anonymized rather than deleted to preserve marketplace integrity
Legal holds: Data subject to legal proceedings may be retained as required by law

Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access your account or prefer assistance, you can request deletion by emailing us at info@vibeshirt.com with:

Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
The email address associated with your account
Any additional verification we may request

We will process email deletion requests within 30 days.

Data Retention

We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Saved designs, AI generations, prompts, and uploaded images stay in your account until you delete them or close your account. Designs used in orders or published products may be kept as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle returns, and resolve disputes. Deleted content is removed from our active systems and later purged from backups.

Children's Privacy and Age Requirements

VibeShirt is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Age confirmation: When you create an account, you confirm that you are 13 or older and agree to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy. We store the date of that confirmation and the version of the policies you accepted. We do not ask for your birthdate or ID.
If we learn a user is under 13: We will delete the account and its associated personal information, including designs, store data and activity logs, except where we must retain order records for legal or tax purposes.
Parents and guardians: If you believe your child under 13 has given us personal information, email info@vibeshirt.com with the subject line "Child Privacy Request" and we will investigate and delete the information.
Users aged 13 to 17: Teens may use VibeShirt with a parent or guardian's permission. We do not sell personal information, and we do not knowingly share the personal information of users under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising.

International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or website notice.
